Default 10" ape hangers for 2019 sport glide

Hello out there, looking to install set of 10" kmt spearhead ape hangers and wondering if anyone had experience and if I will be able to remain stock on wiring and cables.. I thing the new bars only actually add about 2.5" or extra rise.. appreciate any advice or experiences.

10" is stock on a RK. I wouldn't think it would require any extensions. Chk with your dealer.

I just put a set of 10" bobber apes on my 2017 Fat Boy. Everything worked except was about 3-4" short on front brake line. Not sure how close that relates to your newer softail. I mounted bars and estimated how everthing would fit before I commited to anything.

On the sport glide, the brake line goes to a junction under the triple tree then to the caliper.. is it the same on your application? So you had to get longer brake cable and clutch was ok.

I could always order a 4" + kit and a 6"+ kit and return if not needed but it would sure be a lot less trouble and money in limbo if I knew for sure from someone with same scenario.

Clutch cable was ok. Brake line on mine goes from master cylinder to abs module between frame tubes up front then to block under lower triple tree then to caliper.

So, you ended up just getting a +4 brake cable?

Trying to upload a photo as stock and it does look like master cylinder to abs then brake. And its tight with not much slack for any longer bars..

Yes...but I would do like I did first and mount bars in riser and get a measurement. I know it's a lot of work but only way to get it right.

I understand, just trying not drag a simple process out too long as I work offshore and have limited time off.. I'm thinking I may order 4"+ and 6"+ cables and return the ones not used.. I do have a fairling but with it being detachable, want things to look good if riding it stripped down. I do appreciate your input.
