Default I turned my 2016 Fatboy S into a bagger

I turned my 2016 Fatboy S into a bagger Everything was going good till I put a SMT Machine 26 inch front tire on now my bike is starting to wobble around 75 to 85 MPH I am currently getting a steering dampener on and I put in thicker fork oil and that helped, does anyone have any other ideas?

you went from a 16 to a 26 inch tire which altered the steering geometry.

Some things were not meant to be. Can't see the back tire but assume it's the fat 200 tire with now a much skinnier front. When you have made all those geometry changes you now have become the R&D test pilot and now learn why certain extremes might look good static, but perform badly.

EDIT PS, my sig picture is what a bagger looks like.

You have to make certain compromises in order to look cool. In this case, not being able to enjoy riding your motorcycle safely is one of them.

I'm guessing you don't take too many trips on your "bagger"....

Did you balance your new rim, tire and brake disc? If yes, might want to redo that again.

Try Dynabeads or Ride On inside the tires to fine tune the balance.

Check the "fall away" its the most common cause of wobble.

But its probably because of the change in wheel diameter you have changed geometry.

I dont think Id feel safe at speed on it if it takes a damper to hold it steady, better to make the modification to the larger diameter wheel correctly and correct the rake, either triple trees or alter the neck.

Wobble at 75+ = death wobble

No thoughts on the wobble. Just got excited when I saw the thread title. Love mine, but nowhere as extreme.
