I tried to adjust the cable first 1/2 way down the line theres an adjuster then I tried to adjust it at the clutch basket but it seems weird that it was working fine before and now when it is fully adjusted in either direction it is way to loose
You need to start by getting a Factory Service Manual ... but until that arrives, put some slack in the adjuster on the cable ... go to the primary and turn the center set screw in till you feel resistance ... do this a couple times at least ... once you feel resistance back out the set screw not more than 1/2 turn and lock it in place ... then adjust the cable adjuster to get 1/8 inch gap at the clutch perch ... pull the clutch lever and see if you are getting movement at the clutch pack ...
