Excellent. I tried searching google to find a price, or part number and couldn't find it so I just wasn't sure if it was something that HD only sells through their service department or something.
All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Last night I installed my V&H Big Shots Staggered pipes and this morning I had my 1000K service done along with SE A/C and SERT. What a major difference. You gotta love the sound!!!!!!!! Looking forward to a nice Sunday morning ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post pics of the bike soon
I have a set of V&H straight shot HS's and they sound so awesome!! Take it to the next level and slip in a set of Thunder City Monster baffles, and you will be grinning from the awesome deep, loud bark !!! I still get lots of "slip-on" Harley guys ask me what pipes i'm running. I have yet to hear a sweet sound out of slip ons, but some folks want quieter sound..
I remember the day I rode home after getting my V&H Big Shots Staggs put on. Such a difference. If you are carbed...throw a Mikuni 42MM on there...makes it even more fun.
The big change I noticed after I put my BSS on was the FEEL of the bike. The new set up gave that new rumbling through the handlebars that stock pipes just can't match.
I have pretty much the same setup, V&H BSS, K&N Filter, SERT, but I also added the V&H quiet baffles. They don't reduce the volume much but lower the pitch of the pipes. They also added a little torque. My #s from the last dyno tune were: HP=69.4, Torque=84.4. The difference between now and when the bike was stock is amazing. I was thinking of a 103 engine job a few months ago but now wonder if I really need it.
Have a set of V&H BS Stagard pipes on my '06 Fatboy. Had the carb jetted and added a Ness Big Sucker with a K&N Filter - what a difference. The pipes were great before the Stage I upgrade, but I am amazed at how much more responsive the throttle is with the upgrade. The jetting was done by a small custom shop near my house that does HD work. Saved money over what the stealer wanted and even though he didn't dyno the bike he did a great job of dialing in the mixture.
