I've had 240's (and larger) that only managed 7-8K miles, and I've had 180's that got 10-12K. The really don't think that the size of a tire is a useful barometer for how long it'll last...it boils down to the rubber compound(s) used, how much power the bike is putting down to the pavement, and how aggressive you are with the throttle.

Do the 240mm rear tires on the Fat Boy & Breakout last any longer than the narrower tires on the other Softails?
Been through a few 240's on my 2020 FatBoy. The odometer reading today is 53,810. 14K'sh is about all I get on the rear tires. I've tried the 888's and Exedra MAX (and a couple of factory tires). I think the Exedra lasted a couple thousand more than the 888's. I don't remember any of the rears lasting past 15K or so. FatBoys are for fun, Keep 'em full of fuel, buy them new shoes every so often, and Ride, Ride, Ride.
