I was hoping for a littlehelp andinformation. So far HD has not seen fit to offer many wheels that fit the rear of the 2006 bikes. I guess it's the 200mm, 17" wheel, but so far they've only offer a few of the expensive $1200 wheels that fit. Most of them either fit 2005 and earlier or they fit the 2007 bikes. I've been patiently waiting for them to offer something but so far it's front wheels only. They only wheels they offer are for the Deuce so I'm guessing that the axle is different or something. Anybody got any ideas? I'd like to purchase a new front wheel, but I'd like to be able to purchase a matching rear wheel at some point.
I don't know if anybody has solved this but I'd really appreciate any help.
I stopped waiting for HD to come up with a wheel I wanted for my 06 FXST so I went to a forum sponsor and bought my wheels. Look at www.hogpros.com . They rock and shipping is extremely quick.
your going to be looking@1000.00 per rim....if you want matching....
hogpros have plenty of options and pics...
but 17X6 is not a regular size rim, so you might have to go to an 18X5.5 and put a low profile 200mm tire....
good luck...
