Best Engine Harley Ever Made

RE: Best Engine Harley Ever Made
I own a Panhead, Shovelhead, BT EVO, Sportster EVO, and a couple of Fatheads.
All of engine families have their good point and bad points, so it really depends on your defination of 'Best".
I like the looks and sound of the Panheads and Shovels, but they aren't nearly as maintenance free as the newer engines, and in stock condition the power output isn't that great.
The EVO is a good engine in which they solved most of the leaks that were common in the earlier engines, and the EVO's would also run more than 50,000 miles before a rebuild is necessary.
The Fatheads (at least the ones I have) are very maintenance free, have good power in stock condition, and are good for at least 10,000 miles without major problems. I know people with 125,000+ miles on their Fatheads, without any problems at all..
Just depends on what you are looking for....
