Just get them sent via Global Express mail, or whatever they call it from the regular US postal service. It's cheap, fast and 99% of the time the package doesn't get stopped. Therefore no taxes/duties etc.
I've had about 12 packages sent to the Canary Islands and only one was stopped. Then again, Spain is pretty laid back and unless they think it'll illigal or something I guess they don't bother. With HD splattered all over it they probably think it's cool.
Not really sure about the U.K. Here taxes are only 5% on some imports and 2% on others.

I've just bought $2000 worth of Boss Bags for my Deluxe as an early Christmas pressie, now I'm waiting for the cheatin' government here in the UK to slap 10-15% import + 17.5% VAT duty...ouch!!
