My brother has these bags on his 03 FatBoy. They are nice bags, but a little small. they swing up and forward to open as I remember, and the locks are in the back. I have the softail deluxe bags on my Fatboy, and I believe they are slightly larger storage wise. If you have any specific questions about them, I can check with my bro

 

I had them and they were fine.
They looked good to me.

But when I was gonna change my paint job, they wanted enough money to custom paint the bags to match acustom paint job,
that I just bought some detachable Leather Pros bags cheaper.
($750 to custom paint the Hard bags and $650 for new leather bags)

They do have a crazy way of mounting the turn signals, on the end of a rod (in the sixth picture ending in DSC00742).
