Hey guys, so recently I’ve noticed sometimes when starting my bike ( 03 Night Train )after I’ve been riding a bit that sometimes as soon as it fires up I get a loud pop ( like a backfire ) and also when its warm or hot it turns over slowly and starts really weird ( hard to explain ) and I had my power vision retuned by Jamie at Fuel Moto after getting some decel popping and all was good and it’s been a couple months. This just started about a week or 2 ago and I also have a new battery ( installed beginning of this riding season ). Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks

 

Your starter might be going out for one .
Could be causing the other maybe ???

 

Good thing I used to rebuild starters & alternators when I was younger and the shop I used to wrk at actually just moved into the building at the end of my street, how convenient lol. I’ll be taking her apart soon anyways as the weather here in Mich is starting to get cold and I have a bunch of wrk I’ll be doing, so I’ll take a look at the starter after I pull the primary, thanks
