Default Fatboy Hard Saddlebags

Not sure where to put this question. Can't search as the forum's search engine is not working anymore?

Picked up a pair of used Fatboy Hard Saddlebags (P/N 90715-03DH) from Ebay. No installation instructions. I think I can figure it out, but if someone has a copy of the instructions, I would appreciate a copy.

Would also appreciate a picture of the rear of a bike with them on so I can see how the rear turn signals are mounted. I have them relocated already due to detachable sideplates for the sissybar (current have a set of leather Fatboy saddlebags), but they obviously can't remain where they are on the fender strut with the hard saddlebags. Need to see how they are mounted. I also guess I need to pick up the Hardware Kit (P/N 53009-03)?

Thanks!

If you are on good terms with your HD parts folks as one of them to print out a copy of the instructions for you. They have access to all HD instructions/service bulletins via a PDF file system on their HD computer.

Subguy, go to the thread about Streetglide bags on a Deluxe and look at the photos of the black and white Deluxe from the rear with hard bags. The frame on the Fat Boy should be about the same, if it isn't the same as the Deluxe. Good Luck!

Sorry that I don't have a better shot but you can see where they are with the bags on.

I swiched to the Kuryakyn strut huggingLED rear signals. This left plenty of room for my bags.

All,

Thanks!Just what I needed. Got the bag frame and tail light relocation lock down now. For me, a picture is always better...

Again, really appreciate the responses. Called the parts department today for the hardware mounting kit and they said they would print out the instructions. But now I don't need them thanks to you all!

Best!

If you have the detachable backrest mounts already I think you just need to change out the thru bolt.
