Thinking of going with some custom rims on my 06 deluxe,21x3.25 front 18x4.25 rear does anyone know the fattest tire I can put on the rear.

 

I've been told by a couple of different tire guys that thewidest tire you can put on a late model softail is a 160, and then you would have to go to a 3.5 or 4 inch wheel. Anything wider would require some modifications to the rear end, possibly having to swap out the swingarm and fender.This is what I have been told anyway, but I do know a 160 won't fit a 3 inch wheel.
