Hi all
I have just got my 1st harley and its standard pipes arent real loud , and not a real nice note.
Its a 93 flstc
I am in australia and only really have around 500 to spend
Ive seen pipes like santee shooters and turndown drags etc.
Just wondering if any1 has a suggestion for a LOUD , deep , meaty , real bad *** sounding pipe.
also , it has an andrews ev27 cam, if that matters
I just installed a set of 2 into 1 exhaust on my softail. (I was running the SEII slip-ons) The 2 into 1 pipes are not to everyone's taste, but I like the way they look on my Deuce and that's all that really matters. The performance seems to be better than with the SEIIs.
Take the time to do some research before spending a lot of cash on new pipes. Pipes should balance out your intake and your engine's mods, if any.
(Wow! I got a little too enthuseastic on the photos....sorry)
I have Vance & Hines big shot shorts on my springer classic. They are LOUD but not very deep sounding. But I don't think you can expect a short pipe to have the deep rumble of the long ones.
