Beach Bar Wire Fit Question

On Monday I am ordering the Wild One Chubby W0550 Beach Bar for my 07 Deluxe replacing the stock bars. Last year I had Diamindback lines on all my handlebar controls for the stock bar. MY QUESTION is: will the current wires fit the new beach bar for my bike?

Does anyone have expereince with this, if so, please advise. I was going to get the W0503 Knuckle bar but I would have to reach which would make my long rides uncomfortable.

Thanks in advance folks.

RE: Beach Bar Wire Fit Question

Well, i'm not going to be of too much help, but I just ordered that same setup yesterday afternoon and went +3 for all of the cables. My stealer said they go +3 for that setup which gives enough room to keep the cables hugging the bars as opposed to making staight, tight lines right to the frame neck with the stock length. We'll see. When it all comes in, i'll just mock it up and return the cables for longer if needed. That was the main, well only, reason I bought the cables from the stealer as opposed to saving a few bucks and ordering online.

Thanks, if you would, let me know what the result is after mocking it all up after getting in all your parts. I think your stealer is right about ordering +3 to all cables.
What risers did you order. I am going with the Wild One Chubby 1 1/4 inch riser and a chromed alumium billit handle-bar clamp from the same company. Also I am ordering a Nacelle ande a new paint job in vivid black. Currently my bike isblack/white.

RE: Beach Bar Wire Fit Question

indigoblue2001,

I installed the W0550 Beach Bars on my 2007 Deluxe this past winter, all the cables will work. The front brake line rubbed the gas tank a little when turned all the way to the left so I replaced it with a longer braided stainless cable. I'll eventually upgrade to all stainless cables next winter.

Let us know how the install goes.
