I have Samson Streetsweepers without baffles on my carbed 04 Fatboy and they're LOUD. My friend has the same pipes on his 04 Fatty with FI and they're noticeably quieter.

i got a buddy witha 117hp 95 inch duece with huge cams, stage 3 heads, and V&H big radius w/o baffles. Probably the loudest pipes i've ever heard since they crackle off the ground and are just plain awesome!

The shorter the pipes with the smaller the pipe with now baffles. Thats where your going to find loud pipes. Not gonna be good for the mtor but thats not what we are going for here. We are all going to be hating life when the EPA takes over.

I have the V&H stepped drags w/baffles on my '00 FB and they are very loud under throttle and going up hills. I am scared to hear them without baffles. they are alot louder than my old V&H longshots w/o baffles.

....he resorted to wearing ear plugs with a full helmet because his ears were ringing long after he was done riding..
So why does he continue running loud pipes? It's exactly that kind of mentality that is drawing the wrong kind of attention to our sport.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you need ear plugs for your own pipes, they're probably too f****ing loud.
