FYI, I installed the saggybag liners and it was too hard but they really look good. Took the old bags of that are in my signature picture which did not hold hardly anything. Put the new heritage bags on and was concerned about the lights but it worked out well. The tail lights just kiss the bag. Easy install. LOTS OF ROOM NOW!

Hey BarryN, i've been following your thread as my gf has an 07 deluxe. Shes been thinking about the heritage bags also. When you get a chance could you post a coupla pics?

I'm putting Iron Thunder Bags on my Deluxe next week. They look to be as big as stock heritage bags if not bigger, and they will fit with the stock Deluxe turn signals. Check them out: http://www.ironbags.com/cargostraps.html They will not fit with the stock exhaust.

That cargo strap idea on the top of the bags would be a great way to carry a leather jacket or even a tent for longer trips !

I put the Heritage Spinger bags on my 06 Deluxe. had to do some drilling on the fender struts, or you could just by the Heritage struts.
I dig the look, but I just put Bike Buddy Pro's Air Ride on and whith the bags on you can hardly tell it's "slammed". Best part about the air ride is...the ride.

I did not have to modify anything with putting the heritage bags on my 07 Deluxe.

I have a Fatboy with samson exhausts. I would like to avoid moving my lights but am looking for detachable saddle bags. What all do you like that would not kill the bank? Thanks
