Ok, so after 5 months, finally installed layback plate holder!!
Finally installed my layback license plate bracket after having it sit on a shelf for 5 months. Bracket is thanks to HogRida, and it looks great. Even with the massive 5x8 license plate we in B.C. must use.

Just saw this and that's what I've been looking for...will be ordering one. Those stupid dimensions that a canadian plate has makes it impossible to buy any HD plate holder or anything out there.

Why couldn't you just install carriage bolts on under the fender, then box nuts to hold the bolt, then the license plate and acorn nuts on top? The license would be about 1/4 inch off fender...?

Then he would have four holes in his fender in addition to the three that Harley put there from the factory. The hogrida bracket gives you that effect with no drilling, using the factory holes.
