Dude I tried so many different things to make it work that I honestly cant remember what the final result was [:@]I am almost positive that I finally took apart both headlights ( stock and new ) and switched the plugs to the headlight and threw out the plug from the new one . So try that , using the stock plug you dont have to cut anything just take the wires out of the stock plug and pull them through the housing then push them through the new light connect the plug and you should be good just remember which wires go where in the plug so your hi and lo beams work right when you put it back together . I would snap a pic but it's not gonna help ya because I shrink tubed everything so you cant see any wires Hope that helps for now . Go back to your lemonade
I got the message, I contacted them , they will take it back, no restocking fees, I will eat the shipping back and forth + canadian duties .. so I lose like 60$.. live and learn.
I will go to the 'buy' section to see if someone selling something similar that fits my bike.
