RockerMike,

You are I have chatted recently about this project another list I pulled from another link on the forum did not include this part:

Frame Cap X 2 71695-08 $33.78 (Part number is for black)

Can you tell me what this is and is it required? I have all of the other other 7 part numbers and have ordered the struts and the pan already without prior approval from the misses but wanted to get them in and off to the chromer since they have the longest lead time. Do I need the Frame Cap x 2???

Cheers,

Robb aka ROKHER

Stock with no mods

With the Trick Seat Extended

Closing the gap...2 inches between the seat and fender with the Rocker Seat

Looks awesome-I saw this seat in the catalog and told a buddy of mine about it and he couldn't be happier with it (at least his girlfriend).

It has been said the rocker seat closes the gap 2 inches. On my Rocker C, there are about four inches of gap. On the rocker (non C), there is only about an inch difference. Where is the other inch of gap reduction coming from?

The other inch comes from the "trick seat" bracket - it sits one inch higher than the standard seat pan.

I mean, the 3 rockers I've seen, the fender gap is only about an inch less, not two.

Think they may have installed a lowering kit?

I wonder!!!! could you cut down the struts so the seat is lower to the rear fender?
does any one know how far the fender will move up b/4 it hits something?

Here is what the gap bewtween a standard seat and the fender of a "C" with a slam kit on it would look like. [img] http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m...Picture298.jpg[\]
