Default lowering a 2008 fatboy

has anyone lowerd there 08 fatboy? i wont to lower mine 1.5 to 2 inches i have orderd the parts from J&amp\\;P Cycles but dont know if i can do it myself. is there anytools i will need from the dealer. or do i just pull the shocks off put the new parts on the them and put the shocks back on?

You'll need&nbsp\\;a shop press to do it.&nbsp\\; I did mine last week (2007 FLSTF) with the Progressive Lowering Kit.&nbsp\\; After you compress the shock (be careful!) remove the retainer clip w/ a pick, then the inner spring assy comes out and you replace the bolt with the one in your kit.&nbsp\\; Pretty easy if you have access to a press, if not progressive makes a spring compressor for around $90, I saw it in J&amp\\;P.
