Rear suspension creaking, clicking sound

When I jump on my softail it makes the sound described in the subject. On the jiffy stand I can push on the pillion pad and make it do it too. Is this normal?

Bikes brand new. Maybe they forgot to grease it? Grease gun ran out of grease on Friday afternoon at quitting time. Yeh, I'll buy that.

I have a 2007 NT and just took it into the dealer to have that same noise checked out.&nbsp\\; They told me that it is the rear suspension and that they could charge me to clean it all up and then re-grease everything but that it would come back again.&nbsp\\; I live in AZ and they said it wouldn't be any longer than a week with the way it is here.&nbsp\\; So I am just going to have to get used to it.

I'm in Arizona too so maybe it's a local phenomenom.

Im in colorado and my 06 heritage and my wifes 04 heritage both due it I was under the impression that mine did it due to pressure washing the bike which caused the swing arm bushing grease to get washed out .my 06 started making that noise with less than 10,000 miles on it ,the wifes 04 I bought used with 7000 and it started making noise a few hundred miles later .

Oil the shock ends that attach to swing arm and let it soak in. Been there done that.

Do you have a favorite lubricant?&nbsp\\; I'd guess a dry lube of some sort would be best considering the dirty environment of the shocks.
