Mini-Apes on a Deluxe
 

Has anyone put mini-apes on a Deluxe and have pics?
I had them on my Nightster and loved the feel compared to the stock bars
and was thinking about putting them on my new Deluxe.
I know I'll probably need to replace my stock cables, but I wanted to do
braided cables at some point anyway.

Yeah I would love to see Apes on a Deluxe too. I have never rode apes what do they ride like K State!

They would surprise you on how comfortable they really are compared to the stock Deluxe Bars.

Mine are Wild1 Chubby's 12.5" with 1/2" Risers.

I think the Harley Mini-Apes are 10" but not as wide.

I have Fat mini Apes on my 05.......a couple of post up. Click on thumbnail. I put the braided cables on while I was at it.

mine are super comfy.20" with no risers

Here you go.&nbsp\\; I love them.&nbsp\\; Minis with stock riser. I think I will go another 2" within the year.

It was the best mod on the Nightster, a lot more comfortable.
I'm looking forward to doing this with the Deluxe.

I was trying to respond to this post right at the moment the forum was shut down for the upgrade. My Deluxe has a set of 13" high classic 1" diameter apes with shorty risers. Don't let people tell you that you have to have those big fat bars to run the wires internally! I know everyone else but me loves the fat bars, but sometimes they just look cartoonish to me. Just my preference.

No, but I have not riddent anything different...I want to though. I really think I will like taller apes, I love the look.
