Big Radius Pipes question

I have an 02 Fatboy with stage 1 kit and Screaming Eagle exhaust. I plan to change my pipes to V/H Big Radius. Do I need to Dyno tune it right away or can I ride it till I get more $$. Please help.

If your bike is carbed you can probably get away with it fine. Not sure about an EFI bike, but if its running fine now odds are it won't hurt anything. I would just keep an eye on the oil temp and as long as it stays within reason and doesn't pop too bad on decel, your fine.

You already have both ends "opened up" and if its currently running fine you should be okay until you get the $ to fine tune it.

when you put pipes on, you are going to lean out the mixture. lean mixtures burn holes in pistons. I would be more concerned with the spark plugs than oil temp. a piston can melt in seconds, you will not see oil temp change that fast. I have melted pistons while monitoring EGT's. forget about hte oil temp and read your sprk plugs. personally, i would not put the pipes on untill I had all of parts and money to have the fuel system re-mapped.
