eBay........Harley owner's paradise?
 

Just curious about the scores others have had on the 'bay. I've has some serious good scores and some iffy ones, but knock on wood, have not been scammed yet.
Some good scores I've had for my scoot:

new PM chrome "gatlin" rear floating rotor to match my wheels....retail $369...the 'bay..$140
(I lost several auctions for the same item over the last few months at a tad over $200)

HD inverted Marzocchi forks...retail $1100....'bay......$475

new HD chrome forwards brackets...retail $300..'bay ....$112

slightly used Headwinds Bradley Rocket with bulb and mount...retail $485 ....the 'bay...$125

I've had a few purchases that I did OK on but nothing to get ecstatic about, one or two that were probably overpriced for what I got, but they were inexpensive items

LOL...I'm usually the person that's sells my HD stuff in Ebay and taking a beating everytime I do. Example: most recently V&H Big Radius $250, Stock Tailight $3.50 (it was only on from the dealer to my house).

You like the Martin Bros exhaust? I love the way the BR look but I despise their sound. I'm thinking of putting some black short shot staggereds on. I think they'd look good with the red paint.

I liked the look of the BR and hated the sound, I tried to get the baffles out, but wasn't able to. Besides that, everybody and their mother has BR's now. This is my second set of Martins, 1st pair were Money Shots (JUNK), no hp. My current set (WTFs) are great! They're stepped 3x and long enough where I don't lose any hp; actually picked up more hp than I had with BRs and they sound GREAT! No one in my area has them either...lol.

I got my Sundowner Solo seat for $125.
360 degree Highway Peg mounts for $37. (that auction ended New Years Eve at 11:30. Not much competetion.

Just curious, what didn't you guys like about the sound of the BR pipes? Not loud enough, just didn't sound good, what? I know everybody has them, but they sure do look good on just about any bike.

Im looking for parts for a bike I dont have. So if I end up getting a Dyna Ill be asking yall if you want some stuff for what I paid. Im getting closer Waiting on new military orders and travel pay. They said in 2 weeks. So next month hopefully Ill have a bike. But now Im only 3 miles from the National Guard armory where Ill work instead of 30 to the next one.

I've got some pretty good deals and some ok ones. Sell most my stuff there too.
