So I'm seriously considering upgrading to a softail standard... But, the guy who owned it before had the taste of a drunk otter, so I've gotta significantly redo the farkles... What I'm having trouble doing is visualizing what it could look like or be... so if any of you have sweet softail standard pics, post 'em up :) I'm trying to get ideas to get rid of that last "should I do it" urge! :D

Mine is a standard, but the Train is basically a blacked out standard with different bars, and the Custom is the same with a little more bling, a black motor and different seat and bars. For that matter a Fatboy is the same bike with a different front end and rear fender. Get it? The late model examples of these bikes have the 200mm rear tire and they all lend themselves to be customized and limited only by the limits of your imagination. Look in the picture threads for all 3 models.........there are some beautiful examples of each.

Here's my '07 Standard. It's my personal money pit, but that's just because I'm addicted to trying to make it cooler.

Went through a couple of changes Don't think It'll ever be "done" Started as a Vivid black 03 Just started riding it more with the engine/trans/suspension and brakes it's pretty comfortable

What size front wheel are you running Buddha? I'm switching to a 120/70-21 with a 21x 3.5 wheel.

This is my new front fender, painted and ready to go, still have to save up the funds for the new front wheel.
