Geeze thought i would just replace these plugs!

Anyone tell me how to remove these covers so my plug socket can get to the plug?

No idea, but dosen't it say you don't have to remove them to remove plug's?

The Harley covers have set screws, 1/8", one on either side of the plug, stright down.

You should be able to get your socket down in there without removing them. Unless you are using using the wrong size socket.

Should be a 5/8" socket...Unless you have autolites that are 11/16" instead.

Yes,, previous owner installed autolites and the clearence is about 0. However I was trying to use a 13/16. I will search around for a 11/16 this afternoon and see if I can avoid removing those covers.

Thank You all very much! 1st bike love figuring it out.

Thanks eveybody guess it was just as easy as I thought it should be once you guys told me how to get the covers off. I didnt want to screw anything up. The covers had to come off I tried 3 differant 11/16 and none would get deep enough to bite the plug.

Should be straight now that i installed the 5/8 HD golds.

(2) 1/8 set screws per cover straight through the front of the covers ,,, in the little vents.
