Dealer program or something different?

I have a V & H fuel pak, V & H BR and high flow air filter on my 2008 train. I cant seem to get it to run right without it cutting out. Popping back thru the exhaust. I've called tech support, and they cant seem to get it right. I am going to dealer for first service anyway so I thought about having them reprogram, would this be a good Idea? Please help. Thanks Joey

Greetings,

Have them do the Stage 1 Download. Well worth the money and cheaper than a race tuner. I'm running it on my bike with no popping or anything. Yes I have Vance and Hines Shortshots with the Screaming Eagle air cleaner.

Joey, Maybe the FuelPac is bad. I run one with no problems. Two of my buddys also run the Fuelpac with VH duels and air filter with no problems. Did you contact Tech Support?

He said he called tech support and that didn't work, but I'm with you that someting doesn't sound right. I have V&H BSS with a Big Sucker intake and a Fuelpak and it runs well for me with just the recommended settings. I occasionally get a pop of two but not all the time or enough to worry about, most of the time it runs without any hiccups.

The pops do not bother me as bad as the cutting out when trying to leave a red light or stop sign. And I have called tech support, with not much luck on getting it fixed. Very nice people though. Thanks Joey
