Another Deluxe question

Does anyone know of a company that makes a larger saddlebag for a 08 Deluxe. I am looking for one that is similar to the bags on a 97'ish heritage springer but without all the fringe. Now that I have fishtail duals, that style bag is the only one that looks good to me. I anyone has some pics of after market bags on their Deluxe please post them up.

This is the website that I bought mine from. I love them and have about 16,000 miles on them with no problems. I do recommend the ghost brackets, I think they sell them as well. seem to have a pretty good price as well. Checkem out!

Look up Hog deluxe. HE used to be a forum member and makes some killer bags. He was at CA bike week...

Why not just get a set of Heritage Springer bags without the fringes? That's what I did and they look great on my deluxe.

Here is a shot of them installed.

Those look great. I talked to one of the local HD shops and they said I would have to buy every piece (brackets and bolts) separtly and it would cost my over 1k. Was that the case with yours? PM coming your way.

Just thought I would post my response to the PM in case it helps anyone else.

I used a Quick Release system from Bubba's Brakes. I bought the HD Detachable version since I use a rack sometimes. They work great.

The only caveat is that I have been hearing that Bubbas has been hard to reach so you may want to try and call them first.

Here is the link. Scroll down to see the pictures of the kit.

I purchased a set of the Heritage Springer bags off Ebay for $325. It seems the prices on the Heritage Springer stuff is going through the roof these days though.

MikeNY, do you know of if the heritage bags would fit with stock pipes?

Absolutly not. They just clear my pipes which are HD SE Dbl Barrels and my pipes are lower than the stockers.
