Depending at how horrible it looks under your seat.......

The Badlander will give you a solo with a small patch on the rear to cover anything you may not want to see. From there a Corbin solo is nice. They tend to be a bit hard new but do break in over time.

I had a stock seat for my bike cut down to resemble a Badlander but with a better driver bucket area.

I've been happy with my Corbin. It may seem hard, but the weight is distributed evenly across the seat. This eliminates pressure points found on softer seats due to them compressing to the seat frame in a couple of places. Easy to take on and off with the key system too; 3 seconds and the saddle is off.

I love my Mammoth choppers solo seat. I have foudn that everyone rates comfort on a seat differently though. Someone else sat on my bike and said they thought it was uncomfortable, but I can ride it all day long.
I have the crack attack model.

I think Danny Gray makes the most comfortable solo seat, LePerra Bare Bones the best looking.

I have a had a few types. my C&C was great for under 100 miles. you get a rash if longer. I got a fat mustang for my fat @@@ and it is the best ever. I dont have to move around on long rides. I dont get monkey but on it either. And i can use solo to add the pinion for the BOB. (Babe on back)

Don't those Mustangs sit you up and forward?

tk353 11-17-2008 10:27 AM

No they sit you the same as the stock seat. Mine feels a little forward because i was sitting too far back and was not on the center of the stock seat. After a few hundred miles you cant tell

Exactly what I thought. My stock seat sat me up to much for my liking and when I went solo with it, I found myself sitting on the very back of the seat to stretch my legs. Mustang doesn't sound like the seat for me.

But I'm 6'5" so there may not be a solo seat for me. Thanks mom & dad
