I have read before about everybody's air suspension. Now I have the money and want to do it. Is SAS the best way to go? And if so where can I get the best deal. I was going to do cam work done but I think a SAS would look killer on my bike. Would you do SAS or a cam Job. Im leaning towards SAS. Thanks
I like my Arnott system. It rides great and I have found no problems with it. I can ride from slammed to stock height. I have a short center stand and drop my almost 900lb ultra on it with no effort. Great system.
Would the compressors give me no problems. I do alot of riding. Im riding from MD to Myrtle beach bike week. Then a month later MD to The keys in FL. I cant have a hose line or a compressor go. I think thats why I am looking at SAS. Give me some feed back on the good and bad about seperate shocks rather than the single unit. Much appreciated. I would have to agree the SAS is freakin $$$. But looks like quality. Also does the compressor on the single shocks go on the splash guard? My power commander is already there and dont know if it would fit with it. Thanks Yall
Look at www.shotgunshock.com.
I just bought one, but there's a foot of snow on the ground.
Excellent idea and they mount the compressor under the transmission so you can't see it.
I'd like to see how long the SAS compressor lasts. It's microscopic..
Pricey also!!! Im really liking the Hi-Lo. That might be my ticket right there. Who else has it that can vouch. I do alot of stuff to my bike by the words of the people on this forum. Thanks again fellers!!!!
The Arnott compressor on the UC goes behind the motor. 2 holes are there on the frame. Has quick disconnects for the air hoses and does not leak. They make air ride systems for high end autos and know what they are doing. Great customer service and stand behind their products. I love the ride and ability to adjust. Great improvement over stock. I chose this one from the recommendations of other Forum members and am very pleased with price and ride. Installed myself in about 2 hours the first time. I could now do it in about 30 min.
