Default What actually has to be changed

I have some inside information that the wife got me Carlini Drag bars for xmas. Ok, I was watching as she baught them online the other week. Box is under the tree. I have an 07 FXST and was look at what else must be changed when I do the bars. Already have the relocation kit for the turn signals and plan on new grips. It looks like all of the cables would be long enough except for the front brake line Its a hard line so the bends may be wrong. Any thoughts from the experts. The bars have 8in rise and 7.75in pull back basically like the Harley street slammers. Thank you all and Merry Christmas.

Not an expert but one of the things to look at are the risers and especially the riser cover.

sounds like you checked the rest

If you're going to run the wires inside the bars you will need stuff to splice the wires or a tool to remove the wires form the plug.

No risers on drag bars................

The hardline will work but you have to rebend and reshape it a bit.......best bet is to buy a new brake line.

I figured it would just be easier to change it. I was hoping to not have to buy the other cables. Costing enough for the wire cover that goes at the bottom, grips, brakeline and cost of installation. Found an indipendent to do the work. Just want to make sure I have all of the parts lined up. I hope the wires are long enough. I figure they will actually be to long since the will be lower the the stock buckhorns. I hate them worst bars ever in my eyes.
Thanks all.

Woo Hoo! Carlini Bars! That's what I'm running on my '07 FXST also......Love them. Stock cable length will work, except for the front brake line, as already stated.
