Default Treated myself to a new camera for Christmas, so.......

I decided my old Canon powershot 3.2 MP camera was pretty outdated and found a good deal on a new Nikon D80 DLSR and being concerned about stimulating the economy and all.........
FEDEX truck came today with it, so I snapped a couple of point and shoot shots late this afternoon as a test. Much better pictures than the little Canon, even with the rookie photographer and the wierd low light of late afternoon. I can see I'll need to spend a lot of time learning this new fangled stuff. I'm sure it's capable of waaay more than I am at this point.

Very nice Mojo.....I also stimulated the economy recently. I went for a new Fat Cat, Wood TW6G-7 cams, Baisley Heads, roller rockers, and adj push rods. Scooter is in the shop right now.

I really like those newer Nikon cameras. I was looking into the Olympus e510s, and the Canon Digital Rebels as well. I like the sensors on the Olympus a lot, but you've got lenses all over everywhere for the Nikons. They are great cameras. The D80 is decent too.
