Question Help! I need loud pipes

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks for taking time to view my post.

I have an '02 Heritage that's fuel injected and the factory pipes leave alot to be desired. The quiet pipes have almost gotten me killed a couple times.

My wife bought me a Harley Dealership gift certificate, and although I'd rather have an after-market set of pipes, I don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

What pipes do you suggest I get to make sure I'm heard? Other suggestions are welcomed also. I thought about new baffles from Thunder City, but my current baffles are welded in and that's a huge hassle.

Any and all responses are appreciated!

Use the gift certificate for other stuff, and go after market with the pipes, or, may be get the dealer to order you a set of after market pipes. The largest selection will prob. be Vance and Hines. Go to eBay and do a search, you'll be overwhelmed with the results. 2 into 1s will give the best performance, but IMO, the V&H big radius 2 into 2 with no baffles are probably the loudest if that's all you want.

So many to choose from!
Best you listen to other bikes and find the sound you like then you have to choose the style(shape)

I've got V&H Straight Shots on mine, they've saved my a$$ a couple of times!

You do know that the dealership can get any aftermarket pipe you want don't you? It might not be the cheapest price you could get, but you can still use that gift certificate for the pipes you want rather than only using it for something from the SE lineup. Just a thought.
