Default Installed the Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing on my Fatboy

I ordered the Memphis Shades "Batwing Fairing" from Phatperformance Parts. As always with them great service it arrived in 3 days with all the mounting hardware.

I like it a lot, detachable like the windshields so it is on or off in a minute. I went with the 5", no buffeting but with the low shield their is wind in the face, but none on the chest.

Not the best pictures they are from my cell phone.

$ 350 delivered for the Fairing, 5 " windshield and mounting brackets.

If you already have a Memphis Shades "Fats" or "Slim" windshield you dont need the mounting hardware so it would be $ 190 for the Fairing and 50 for the 5" windshield or 60 for the 7" or 9" windshield

Looks good and great price. Is it double walled? In other words can you mount speakers and radio in it?

I like! Can you post pics of the mounting hardware and forks when the wing is not installed? Curious what the forks look like without the wing.

No, you cant mount speakers or radio. The fairing is basicly a thick molded lexan (windshield plastic) with an inner fairing of ABS plastic in opaque black so it is not see through.

Ill take it off tomorrow and post pictures

Kuma

Ill post pictures tomorrow of it off the bike. The mounting is the same as the Memphis shades windshields or the HD detachable shields. It only leaves behind two bo;ts and spacers on each side of the fork just like the stock windshield.

The whole fairing weighs just about the same as a stock full size windshield.
