Rinehart® 2-into-2 Cross-Back Exhaust System

I'm looking at a less restrictive exhaust for my 2008 103 Heritage. Have read a lot of good things about Rinehart Exhaust and performance gains, but before I drop the heavy green I was wondering if any real riders have experience with this system. Also adding SE "Heavy Breather" to open the front side. Any ideas?

IMO Rinehearts are one of the best if not the best pipes out there, they deliver. Big smoke for them though

I have the Rinehart flush cuts and really like them. I wanted something different then the VH BSS everybody seems to be running around here, but never understood why the Harts cost more then the VH. Now, I think the extra cost is partially due to the welded on heat shields. It's really nice to be able to take the pipes off without having to mess with the heat shield pipe clamps. I noticed a slight seat of the pants performance improvement over the SEII slip-ons I was running too. And the deep rumble is really sweet. There's a vid posted here in the exhaust section that sold me on the sound since most of the Harts I hear are slip-ons on baggers.

Then I found the flush cuts at Metric Thunder on sale and broke out the Visa Card.

I am looking at those too, the chrome flush cut with black end caps. It's either those or a D&D Fat Cat.

Thanks for all the comments. I too am looking for something other than V&H everybody seems to be running them around here. Has anyone had any tuning issues after installation?

I'm surprised your 103 doesn't already have a free flow AC and pipes with the proper down load. But I guess not from reading your posts. If you are going to go with a free flow AC and pipes such as the Rineharts, you will need to remap to account for more air flow. But even on a stock 96 or 103, I'd remap to richen up the mixture just to cool the bike down. And I would highly recommend not getting the HD download. Go with the more expensive SERT or PCIII or what ever you choose. But $150 for a fixed download that probably will pop on decel is a rip off.
