Lightbulb clearing blacked out trim

new vivid black train coming in 3 or 4 weeks and im thinking of clear spraying the horn cover, derby cover, and upper and lower chain guards, possibly put a coat of black first, do they make a clear that can stand the heat on the derby cover,,,,,iv never seen anyone with that done,,,oh ya I called it first...whew hew!!
orrrr its been done and then im sorry for copying. lol

Question try again

i was wanting to paint the guards, air horn cover, and derby cover, i was imagining getting them a dark glossy black like the tank and fenders, and i didnt know about clearing the derby cover due to heat,

Got ya. What I've heard it the derby is powder coated so I think you'd have to pc clear it.
