banging gears
 
hey guys i have a softail 5 speed with 80 evo.if i try to burn out in first or slam second the gears bang.any suggestions or diagnosis

Just a suggestion, take it easy on the Harley and get yourself one of those crotch rockets, I've seen guys do burnouts on those bikes till there was no tire left.

Hey i done me one of those there burn outs today but it was an accident as i took off gave it a little hell and the fact that my back tire is damn near bald came in to play :D

My suggestion would be not to try something if you don't have any idea how to do it.

My diagnosis is ADD. :p
