Default 07 Heritage Classic slip-on advice help

I have a 2007 Heritage Classic w/fuel injection that I am looking at adding slip-ons but I don't want to have to download an update or anything. So far I have found the Rush 1.75 or either 2". I was told the 1.75 you dont have to do a download but I have heard some say you do with 2"....is this true? I am in the middle Georgia area. Right now I am in the looking stages so if there are other manufactors out there that I can look at as well let me know. Finally where is a good place to buy that tends to have the lowest prices?

Thanks everyone for your help.
Thomas

I've been running Rush 1.75s on my 08 for over a year and been happy with them. Went with them because as you said the typical advice is you can't go over that w/o a remap. Some will tell you they have w/o a problem. I prefer to go on the safe side. The Rushs' have interchangeable baffles for about $50 so if you want to move up to a larger size later its no problem.

As for where to get them. I got mine at cyclespot.com for $232 but that was back in Nov 07. I don't know if they still sell them or not, their site is down temporarily.

Another good place to check is
http://www.fuelmotousa.com/rush.htm

You might ask them about a package deal on a full stage one (slipons,ac, fuel manager). He makes a specially modified Rush slipon but also sells the standard model by itself if that's all you want.

The package is all bolt on and run. The fuel manager will be preset for your setup.

Good company to deal with.

I have the rush 1.75 for the tq. I do have a fuel management because the stock engine is too hot and too lean to start with. I have a dyno tune done instead of a canned map. Mine went from 63.99 hp to 75.41 hp and 78.16 tq to 87.36 tq
