Default some handlebar riser questions, opinions wanted

Well, have a set of NT bars coming, and I'm tryin to figure out what risers to use.
I know the NT's are straight, but I'm kinda thinking I'd want the bars to come back a little.
I measured mine, and they seem to be 6".
So, would 6.5 make a lot of difference?
Would 9.5 be too much?

Opinions, pictures appreciated

I put the Duece style risers on my Night Train and it made the bars a lot more comfortable. Here are a couple of pics...

I got them from JP Cycles. According to their site, they are a 6.5" rise and they are a stock replacement, but that is the only info that they give.

In the v twin manufacturing online catalog, I just found some 7" pullbacks. Those would look good and prob be a decent reach.

Schumacher,
you PM'd me in another post and I responded on your that post but to get the measurement of your risers, measure from the top triple tree (the base of your riser) to the middle of your bars. If your's are stock they are porbably 4.5. I put 6.5 on mine with a 1 inch pullback. It was a inexpensive swap. I also put on some ness cusstom riser bolts and urethane bushings. Helps reduce the vibration in the bars. Which can also cause some wrist pain.
