Default Heritage bags on a Fatboy

Hey guys I know this topic has been hammered into the ground, but either no one has yet to do it or etc. So my question is . Has anyone put a seat of Heritage Saddlebags (With the molded back) on a 07 and up Fatboy? If so could you post the pics of it, what type of docking station. I've got 09 heritage bags to go on my 07 Fatboy and I'm stuck. I tried several quick release set ups and have had the same result. THEY DON"T WORK ! .. these brackets they send me are for a HERITAGE and yes I tell them they are for Heritage Bags, YET they are going on a Fatboy!. So if any of you who have figured this out and have been able to put these bags on your Fatboy please help me and Post some pics.

Maybe try some easy brackets for a Fatboy. You might have to redrill the holes to mount the bags but the brackets would match your fender struts.

get you those willie and max that look like heritage bags and be done with it. i did see one post last year that used the heritage bags but there was a lot of modification to the bag to make it fit.

Yeah I agree with you tk353 I've just come so far and I don't want to give up now. I guess I'm going the ol "Putting a square peg in a round hole" thing huh. I'm not going to give up though. I'f I could post the link on here or the pics, but there is a guy on the V-twinform who has a fatboy and when finished he had a bagger. (Did it in silver) Anyway I'm thinking of maybe scraping the hole easy bracket thing and just go with the stock brackets. My local HD said the could install it for less than what I paid for the brackets. I just want to end up with it looking like these bags in the end.

i bet some drag specialties brackets would work but i think you should blucher the bags and use easy brackets or ghost brackets
did you want them to be removable?
you can place a bar between the 2 post and use it to mount that bracket

I thought about it and I would like them to be removable. I'm going to return the edge brackets and get the correct easy brackets.

What type of exhaust do you have and how are you going to get the bags on over the higher exhaust pipe and bracket of the FB? I also agree that's a lot of work when you can just buy aftermarket bags and brackets that fit the FB.
