Looking to get a axle mount vertical plate mount for my 06 FLSTSC. Doesnt have to have a braje light or be lighted. any suggestions on what product to go with? also, can I install without removing the wheel, Ive heard with certain mounts you can just remove the nut and pin and replace one of the washers

I would just point out that you might want to go with a horizontal side-mount instead of vertical as a few states (FL, for example) have outlawed the vertical. To me, anything I can do to avoid unwanted attention is a good thing.
i was just on another forum site and saw that one of the guys custom made a plate mount the goes right in back of the axle and looks like an axle mount but it actually bolts onto the belt guard tabs. anyone see somehting like this before?
Just went out to the garage and checked out the axle....it looks like I can take out the pin and take off the nut and just replace the washer with the plate mount....can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Great.....so the tension from tightening the nut will keep the mount from drooping down? (I notice there's no stop or rest spot on the mount or the axle to keep the weight of the mount from bringing it down)
Tell you what, being you are only less than 30 minutes from me, if you go with the Road 6 set-up, I'll come down to you and help you throw it on. It's simple!
Let me know.
