It's doing it again!!!
 

I got her back from the dealer yesterday. She was fine on the way back from the dealer...then I went to Lowes...again she was fine, rode home...fine. She sat in the driveway for a while catching some rays, then I fired her up to pull her in the garage...low and behold it dies right after firing up. I fire it up again...dies, get her started one more time and she doesn't like the throttle, pops, farts and coughs out of the intake. I'm going to ride into work Tuesday (going to try anyway) and if she's acting up I'll limp her to the dealer so they can see how it's acting. I didn't wash it or anything so they can't say it was water in the connections. I'm pretty irritated that I can't have a reliable machine.:mad:

Where is your cell in relation to the fob. If they are right next to each other, say in a pocket, the phone will interfer with the fobs transmission.
It used to just die on me and dealer could'nt figure or "replicate" it. I did some brainstorming and now try to keep them at least a body width apart and hav'nt had a repeat so far. It even states it in the owners manual.

My bike doesn't have the security system on it. I went out there again and tried starting her up, died the first time, but the second time she stayed started. The idle seems to go up and down a little...and it seems to be idling a little low. She hesitates when giving a little throttle in neutral, when I can get her to a higher rpm she seems ok...it seems most of the issue is at low rpms.

I suspect a fuel pressure issue. Did they check that when it was in ?

I have no idea what they checked when it was in, the service slip said they were unable to duplicate the problem. I'm going to ride it on Tuesday and if it starts acting up I'll be taking her straight to the deaer so they can see first hand what I'm talking about.

Could be bad Gas. have it checked for water in the tank.

that's a crappy feeling man. hope you can get it worked out.

bad gas can cause that but if not then i bet hardware.

check your IAC (idle air control)... if your your bike is EFI. its this little sensor in the top of the throttle body... they have been known to clog up with oil from the breather tubes and not allow the bike to sense idle correctly. but make sure you use a throttle body cleaner as its safe for sensors and not just carb cleaner (not sensor safe). and have you checked for engine codes?
