I am considering upgrading the suspension of my 1992 FLSTC. It was new to me about 9 months ago. It was lowered and needed work. I have put it back to stock rear height and have had a lot of maintenance done. I think the front shocks are stock. I had then rebuilt, new flluid, seals, etc. It is reasonably solid now so I am considering some upgrades.

I have no interest in lowering it. At stock height it is already really low. I am interested in better handling. I am sure I would get a lot better handling with a touring frame, but I like this bike and I want to work with it.

So air shocks are best for handling? Or is this for adjustable height? What is recommended for upgraded front shocks? Is there a way to tell if my existing front shocks are stock?
