I have 2016 Road King and all other gears are fine but 5th gear at 100km seems like its working too hard, its screaming for another gear then i have to switch to 6th gear. I just took in for service at 4000km and they said they did an adj but i dont believe it, its still too tight. Any ideas will help

 

There is no adjustment of gear ratios; they are what they are. Usually, when someone talks about the "engine screaming" they mean less than 3500 rpm. More riders ride in too high a gear than in one too low.

Harleys, with their broad power band, would probably do just fine with a 3-speed. A 6-speed isn't enough for you?
