both wheels are definately 07 so I am using the 07 axle and outer spacers,I wont use new bearings until I sort out whats wrong, the sleeve that fits beteween the bearings for the axle to run through is approx 1/4" longer than the housing, when either bearing is sitting against the wheel wall and I drop in the sleeve it sits up further than the housing the other bearing should sit against,I never seen this before on any bike,I personally think it could be dangerous, yhe wheel could actually move 1/4" on the bearings,I dont no why harley done this,I think it needs a spacer for safety

I got the bearings out of both front wheels and they are both the same 2007,I measured every possible way and the sleeeve is longer than the walls the bearings should sit against when driven fully home, could somebody put a calipers on the brake side of a 2007 wheel and tell me the distance in mm from the ring the rotor sits into, also yhe opposite side would help,i need to get the offset right before i put all back together?

Did you ever get this sorted chap? I have a similar problem with the spacer being to long.
