Just a quick question. If anyone has these could you tell me how fast they wear? The description says "Designed to age and "break-in" like a pair of comfortable stone-washed jeans..."
I'm assuming that means the anodizing wears. I'm just curious how fast and how much.
I have about 3500 miles on mine....They look the same as the day I installed em.
Cept' the shifter peg has a shiny spot on the edge where me boot contacts it during upshifting.
I expected more wear....Aint happened yet. My previous pegs looked beat after a month as they were the flamed chrome ones and my boots would get dirty and quickly scratched the chrome to chit. These black diamond ones hold up well.
The added bonus is that they are not fvckin' hideous looking as the Flamers were. No offense to Flamed crew...Just wasnt my thang!

I've got the grips - no wear at all. Nice to see the pegs hold up well too. How do you like those in terms of function chaz, I feel like my feet would want to slip off, but love the look of em.

Ya' know I thought the same thing...Ironically these have way more grip than any Harley peg I have ever felt. They have the wierd rubber bands around em' and and my boots feel glued to the pegs. I typicallly ride with the back heel of my boot on top of the pegs and after spending a few miles on my Flamers with my feet slipping off the shiny chrome the Black Diamonds are pretty amazing.
Honest Abe they are hands down the grippiest pegs I have ever owned.
I have the grips and pegs, no wear yet. Very grippy though, I'm happy with them. Only thing I don't like is that every Tom, Dick and Harry has 'em too
I have the pegs but didnt do the grips...But I'm Chuck! Not Tom, Dick or Harry!!
I do wish I had went with the PM machine pegs though.....Fvckers are trickness! I just though that with then matching my grips that may be kinda PM Fan-Boi creepy. To much lettering maybe? Trick all the same tho'
