I own a 2008 Harley Softail FXCW Rocker. I was looking at raking out the front end a little bit more but didnt want it to effect the handling of the bike. I found out that they make Raked neck cup and bearing kits for Harley Softail models that will rake it out without adversely changing the Rake and Trail figures. My frame is currently raked at 36.5 degrees and the 3 degree cups will put me at 39.5 degrees of rake. With that rake the trail increases just a bit but them if I installed another 3 degrees in the triple trees it will put me back at my 6.20 inces of trail depending on the fork length I chose. I found the kits from 60-88 year model softails and some for even newer Dyna models but none of them list that they will fit anything newer. Does anyone know if the neck cup diameter and height are different from say an 88 to an 08 model? Or does anyone know the measurements of an older models, maybe an 1985-1988? Do you know where I could get some? Please respond if you have any information that will help. Thanks
