lossen the bolt on the shock push bracket down and tighten then lossen the headlight bolt n tilt back to straighten that will put the light out farther
I tried that already...it hangs the light too low that way. I tried all manner of swivel to get it to work or look right.

measurement is what you said it was 2 1/2" roughly. mine sits fine the shock will not come down and hit it. was it actually hitting on yours as my bike and your bike are the same as are the parts i dont mean to sound condessending but it must fit would it be worth trying it again maybe something obvious will present itself this time.
No offense taken. I'm pretty good with a wrench as I restored my 68 Camaro.
There's really nothing to screw up with the install... It's just that the bolt on the back of headlight looks like it would catch on downward travel of the shock. It's too close for comfort in my book...I'd like there to be adequate clearance.
If yours is 2.5"...it's longer than mine by an 1/8th.

i measured mine in place with headlight on it could well be same as yours i would guess it would be dude. i hope you get it sorted cause it does look very cool
I bought one of these RSD relocation brackets and I put it on last night. However, after assembly, the bracket appears shorter than it does in their ad.
Head light in the ad is different then the bones. Its a Headwinds which I think accounts for the different fitment and the illusion of a longer bracket?

I noticed the different headlight in their catalog...but on some other xbones owners photos, teh bracket just appears longer.
I installed it again last night and no matter how you adjust the rear swivel up and down, it leaves almost zero clearance to the rear headlight nut. The only way to get some clearance is to have the headlight (at the front end of bracket) adjusted/facing slightly down. That is unacceptable.
Still no reply from RSD. That is really bad customer service.
