#23
Thanks, I am realy wanting to do a mag 21"front wheel, but part of me wants to keep the fatty wheels but high polishthe outter ring and hub.
I also got my badlander seat today and it looks awesome! Too dark to get a good picture today so they will have to wait until tomorrow.

Well, my wife says the bags hit her in the back of the calves, but is tollerable. The bags are quick release but the brackets are a lot more work to take off if you want the clean look.
One question, does the badlander seat come in different configurations? It seems that mine sits me farther foreward on the bike, making it a little uncomfortable with the pullback risers I have.

I presume you used the cycle visions hard bags mounting brackets? If so, why were they hard to put on?
My question for anyone has to do with putting extended depth hard bags on this type of conversion. Would the back of the bags drag in a turn? What if the bike was lowered an inch? Anyone done true duals on this type of setup, like from Samson or V&H? I'm curious.

Yes they are Cyclevision mounts and no, they are not really hard to put on but they by no means quick release.
I dont think the extended bags would look right with a fatboy rear fender. the hard bads match the depth of the rear fender perfect and by stretching the bags, you would have a void where the rear fender is.
