Default Cruisemount Cruise Control on a Heritage

Has anyone installed one of the Cruisemount cruise controls on their bike? Cruisemount sells you the mounting kit and wiring harness for about $450, you also have to purchase the cruise module from HD at about $350. It looks like a pretty slick system, but $450 for the mount and wiring harness seems like alot...

There is another company that makes a really slick version that does not have to wired in and costs about $189. It is hooked to the brake lever so when you pull the lever it disengages. I have to go to another site to find the info. Forgot to bookmark it. I'll post it here when I find it.

Yeah, but that's not a true cruise that varies the throttle as needed. that's a throttle lock. This one is actual cruise. I just think it sucks that it has to be visible.

Try this one, it comes complete with everything you need, and is totally hidden...

Your post shows about 800.00. This one is 700 or less depending on the bike.
